New Spider-Man bedding range confirmed by UK company Character World

Thanks to the Manchester Evening News I’ve just heard that licensing company Character World has signed a new deal with Marvel to start an Amazing Spider-Man range which will be released to coincide with the release of the Spider-Man sequel Amazing Spider-Man 2 this Spring.

The range will include a 3D duvet cover set, a towel and a shaped cushion and will sit alongside the business’ existing full range of Spider-Man bedding and accessories. The collection will be available in most large retailers across the UK from April. (Sorry US fans)

Tim Kilby of Character World said: “Spider-Man is one of the top three licensed boys franchises in the world. We expect sales of both our Ultimate Spider-Man and Amazing Spider-Man ranges to soar around the release of the Amazing Spiderman 2 film in April. The trailer for the hotly anticipated release has already reached almost 30 million people globally so it’s going to be a big hit!

“The popularity of Superhero movies is really going strong at the moment – our Superhero ranges across the board are doing extremely well, with the trend not looking to cool off any time soon.”
