Your Unsung Hero Could Get A Skype Salute From Captain America

facebooktwitterreddit

The creative promotions for Captain America: The Winter Solider continue. First Cap (or Chris Evans, at least) was the grand marshal for the Daytona 500, and now he’s teaming with Skype to salute some unsung heroes.

To enter the contest, you have to create a video message of no more than 30 seconds using Skype to nominate someone you feel goes above and beyond to help out without getting the recognition he or she deserves. It’s not very clear exactly how, but the best ones will see their nominees receive a Skype salute from Captain America and friends (or again, the actors and actresses, maybe even ScarJo!).

What’s in it for you? I mean, other than the satisfaction of shining a spotlight on the good deeds of others, which should be reward enough? As it turns out, 11 lucky winners will earn some cool Captain America swag. There’s one grand prize of a custom piece of art signed by a Marvel artist, as well as 10 Captain America posters signed by “Marvel talent.”

The legal details and whatnot for the contest are right here so you don’t embarrass Cap by breaking the rules. He’s not a big fan of that sort of thing, in case you hadn’t heard.
