It’s time for another Batman Fanart of the week! This week’s fanart is a Steampunk take on Batman and company by deviantart.com member R-Tan. I just love this piece, it’s so cool. The Gothic architecture style of Gotham City makes for the perfect backdrop for Steampunk Batman. If you’re thinking that Catwoman doesn’t look all that different in this image it’s because she doesn’t. In recent years Catwoman’s costume has changed until it now looks right at home in a steampunk painting. I’ve always been a fan of Catwoman and I love to see her at Batman’s side instead of at odds with him.

R-Tan did an excellent job with this piece, I love the lighting, and honestly I think my favorite part of this image is the zeppelin up in the sky. Steampunk technology looks pretty darn cool on its own but when Batman uses it, it suddenly becomes awesome! What more can I say about such a beautiful piece of art? Batman looks good in any era, as long as the artist is talented and a fan, which R-Tan clearly is.
