See The Most Powerful Mutant In the Marvel Universe Float Again In All-New Doop #1

Even if you read every issue of Peter Milligan and Mike Allred’s X-Force and X-Statix and every other appearance he’s ever made in the Marvel universe, there’s a lot you probably still don’t know about Doop. Simple things, too, like what exactly is he? What are the limits of his mutant powers? Is he even a mutant? Heck, are we sure he is even a he?

Answers to some of those questions (undoubtedly followed by more questions) are coming in All-New Doop #1 from Milligan and artist David Lafuente. And because it wouldn’t feel right without him, Allred is providing the cover art.

Apparently, there was a scene in Battle of the Atom that we never saw, one that proves how instrumental Doop was in stopping the evil X-Men from the future. If that’s not enough, Marvel is promising that the new series “will prove once and for all that Doop is, in fact, the most powerful X-Man!”

That’s a bold statement. We’ll find out if it’s true when All-New Doop #1 hits your LCS or digital portal on April 9. Check out a few pages from that issue and get ready to Doop!
