I have to confess to that I’m not a huge fan of this character. Maybe it was those early stories with the Sisters of Sin and the whole deal with aging and de-aging female agents that is just too goofy for me. Without that plot device to fall back on, she might not even make sense in a Captain America film unless she was the Red Skull’s granddaughter, as too much time has passed since World War II for her to be his daughter.

Still, there’s a powerful idea to one of the Skull’s relatives continuing his evil, and she could certainly have an impact on Rogers’ psyche. Ed Brubaker made her into a pretty nasty villain during his run, so she could work on film.
