Super Hero Squad Online: Abomination Playable, Weekend World Event

Another villain has been added to the list of Super Hero Squad Online playable characters, and he’s one of the Hulk’s favorite sparring partners. The Abomination is now available to help you take on missions in Super Hero City, putting his gamma-powered muscle to use with powers like “RAWWR!” I think I spelled that right. Three ‘W’s,’ you see.

A new weekend world event is also on tap, giving players a shot at Loki for topping the fractal leaderboard. The event runs on a four-hour cycle until Monday, April 7 at 1 pm PDT, and it’s easy to participate by turning in fractals to the Watcher in Baxter Plaza. That guy’s been standing in one place for a long time!

The Hero Every Day Sale continues for the entire month of April, and while it really shouldn’t need much explanation, the idea is that a different hero is marked down every day. So if there’s a particular one you have your eye on, just keep waiting, and he or she may rotate through the sale before the end of the month. Last but not least, you can get a free Group Dance Potion by entering the code “GDPAP14.” It’s an instant party in a bottle.
