What does the future have in store for the Green Goblin?

Sorry there will be some slight spoilers in this article pertaining to Dane DeHaan’s character and whether or not the Green Goblin made it through Amazing Spider-Man 2 and if we’ll be seeing him in Amazing Spider-Man 3 (I feel that it’s fairly obvious, but if you don’t want any of the film ruined, stop reading now)

So, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ends with Dane DeHaan’s Green Goblin in Ravencroft after the climactic battle in the Clock Tower. However we then see a rather interesting little scene with DeHaan getting visited by the Man in Shadows and him alluding to the creation of what appears to be the Sinister Six.

So, what exactly is in store for Harry Osborne’s Green Goblin? Well it initially looks like he’ll be the leader of the Sinister Six and not his father Norman Osborne who in his current storyline state is definitely dead. But does Dane DeHaan have any idea what to expect for his character in the upcoming Spider-Man films?

Well if he does he’s clearly not allowed to say as he tells Echo News “” I’m so excited. I can’t wait. I don’t know what they’re going to be but I think we can tell something bigger is coming and I can’t wait to find out what that is,” he teased. This would seem to confirm the above rather obvious theory but who knows?

But if Dane DeHaan’s excited for Amazing Spider-Man 3, I’m beyond excited, I thoroughly enjoyed Amazing Spider-Man 2 and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for Spider-Man and which new characters we’ll be meeting in future films. Also the prospect of more Green Goblin action is also, well, Amazing.
