Spider-Man talks about Justin Bieber

Spider-Man has many enemies, and tries to help many people but even when he’s fighting the Sinister Six, maintaining a relationship with Gwen Stacy and trying to hide the fact he’s Spider-Man from his aunt even he has time to comment on the global phenomenon that is Justin Bieber.

The Amazing Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield, who plays the superhero himself commented on the young popstar in an interview with Time Out London revealing that he was glad that he came to fame in his late 20’s and not at the young age that Justin Bieber did. He said “”If I’d had these opportunities when I was younger, I would have been Justin Bieber. If you are a 16-year-old kid and you can do whatever the f**k you want, you’re making trillions of dollars and you have a leopard-print Ferrari, it’s not healthy.”

Naturally Garfield has a point here as handling that level of fame at a young age cannot be easy. It certainly wouldn’t have done Peter Parker any good if he became Spider-Man at the same age that Justin Bieber became famous! Garfield went on to add “”If I was going through what I’m going through now when I was 16, I might have ended up in jail.”

So there we have it, instead of being the shining beacon of hope and law enforcement that Spider-Man is, Andrew Garfield could have ended up in jail. Where he might’ve potentially been bonded with the Venom symbiote and become Carnage. Image that, Justin Bieber in the Carnage symbiote suit…… *Shudders*
