Amazing Spider-Man 2 game’s webbing doesn’t connect to buildings?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game
One of the big negatives about the first Amazing Spider-Man game was that Spider-Man’s web seemingly didn’t connect to anything and you could basically web-sling off of clouds, or the sky, or nothing in particular. However Beenox announced that they had fixed this issue and updated the web-slinging mechanics. And if you look at the initial Gameplay footage there is definitely a huge improvement when it comes to webbing attaching to something.
However someone on Reddit has posted a video that they’d uploaded on Dropbox from the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game of Spider-Man web slinging on what appears to be at the edge of the city and it seems that his webbing is back to its old cloud surfing tricks. I can’t upload the video here for some reason but you can check it out here. You can also see a screen-shot of the video below showing Spidey’s web flying off somewhere into the distance

Now it’s unclear if this is just a glitch in that particular area, or if this Reddit user is playing an earlier version of the game, or if this is just simply how Spider-Man web-slings around the edge of New York. I have to say at this stage I think it’s a glitch as initial reports from the gameplay suggest that Spidey gives you sarcastic quips if you try to web-sling without a building to attach to like “this just in, webs need buildings to attach to.”
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game is out fairly soon! Unless you’re an Xbox-One user then it’ll be out in July. But at least you’re getting it at all! It’ll feature several villains like Kraven, Kingpin, Carnage, Black Cat, Electro, Green Goblin and many more! So buy it!
