Justice League to Follow Batman Vs Superman Back to Back

First Batman Vs Superman added Wonder Woman and a Justice League film seemed right around the corner. Then rumors of Green Lantern and  Black Adam surfaced and recently the casting of Cyborg was announced. Was Batman/Superman actually a JL movie with an identity crisis? (that’s a DC pun)

Well, as it turns out, Justice League will be a direct sequel to the currently filming World’s Finest film, the two movies shooting nak to back. This came from the Wall Street Journal:

"Confirming the studio’s plans for a movie based on its iconic super-team for the first time,Warner Bros. president of worldwide production Greg Silverman said the studio has set plans to make a “Justice League” movie.Like “Man of Steel” and its follow-up, which starts production next month, “Justice League” will be directed by Zack Snyder. Henry Cavill is expected to return as Superman, along with Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot, who play Batman and Wonder Woman, respectively, in 2016’s “Man of Steel” sequel tentatively titled “Batman vs. Superman.”“It will be a further expansion of this universe,” said Mr. Silverman. “’Superman vs Batman’ will lead into ‘Justice League.’”A script is still in development and Warner has not set a release date, though the movie is unlikely to come out before 2018."

Then today Borys Kit of the Hollywood Reporter Tweeted this:

Borys claims its been confirmed, though no comment has come from WB execs. If this is all true, it makes a lot of sense. DC has fallen behind Marvel in cinematic world building, and world building is what DC used to do best. At this rate Avengers 2 will be out before a single Justice League film and DC will fall that much farther behind.
