Celebrate All Things Spider-Man In Super Hero Squad Online This Weekend

So, apparently there’s a new Spider-Man movie opening this weekend, yes? Seems like kind of a big deal, what with the wall-crawler battling not one, not two, but three super villains.

Well, never let it be said that Super Hero Squad Online isn’t in tune with what’s going on with Marvel’s big guns in other forms of media. To celebrate The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (and quite possibly, the recently released Amazing Spider-Man #1 that returns Peter Parker to a starring role), there’s a Spider-Man Bonus XP Weekend running now through Monday, May 5 at 1 pm PDT. Just play as any spider-powered character and you’ll get bonus XP from every mission.

Keeping the theme going, there’s also a sale on certain members of the Spider-Man family, plus a World Event that is granting the spectacular Spider-Ham as the top reward. What, you’ve never heard of Peter Porker? For shame!

To aid in the web-slinging fun, you can also enter the code “LVLUP514” to get a free level up potion. That should be all you need to get in on the celebration — right after you get back from the movie, naturally.
