Let’s be honest: a large, talking gorilla isn’t likely to be in the cards, to say nothing of an entire society of said gorillas. Despite his status as one of Flash’s most deadly and powerful foes, the comic version of Grodd just doesn’t make sense on the small screen.

That’s not to say the core concept couldn’t survive in some form, though.  Maybe experiments on gorilla’s gives one of them telekinetic and/or telepathic powers. I could see the writers figuring out a way to incorporate that into the show, perhaps in a way where Flash and the police don’t even realize who or what is causing trouble. In any case, Grodd is just too much of a classic to give up on altogether.
