Avengers Weekend World Event Hits Super Hero Squad Online

As R. Kelly might say, it’s the freakin’ weekend, meaning it’s time for another World Event in Super Hero Squad Online. This time around, the Avengers are in the spotlight, and turning in enough fractals to Uatu (still alive in the game!) might get you the aptly named Avengers Bundle with three heroes: Avengers Hulk, Avengers Thor and Avengers Black Widow. The event cycles every four hours through Monday, May 19 at 1 pm PDT.

(Note to Google: I’m not keyword spamming, the word “Avengers” is really in the names of all three characters to distinguish them from their comic book-based counterparts.)

There’s some good news and some bad news when it comes to other in-game happenings. The bad news is that Loki is making another power move to take over all of the zones of Super Hero City. The good news is that the next playable character is coming soon, and it’s none other than S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson (now Director on the TV show) — and it appears he may be bringing Lola with him.
