There’s one undeniable fact about Amazing Spider-Man 2 that cannot be refuted, regardless of whether or not you liked the film, the storylines, or the number of villains that were crammed into it. And that fact is that it is one of the most visually impressive superhero films to date, it looked sublime.

So, here’s a VFX breakdown video from imageworks that explains a little bit about how they made the film look so good. It puts special emphasis on Spidey himself and his movements and web-slinging. It’s pretty cool.
