Exclusive Amazing Spider-Man #1.2 With J.G. Jones Cover Available At Philadelphia Comic Con

If you’re planning on attending Philadelphia Comic Con on any of the VIP packages, you’re going to get a pretty cool bonus. Marvel and Wizard World announced that all VIP attendees will receive a limited edition variant (with a print run of 4,000 copies) of Amazing Spider-Man #1.2 with a cover by J.G. Jones. Conveniently, Jones is also a guest at the show, so you might be able to get him to autograph your copy while telling him how disappointed you were that he couldn’t finish all of Final Crisis. Well, maybe not that last part … unless you do it.

Philadelphia Comic Con will take place from Thursday, June 19 through Sunday, June 22 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. A four-day ticket costs  $89.95 and there are a host of VIP packages that range between $125 and $575. Some of the celebrities available for autographs and photo ops through VIP packages include WWE performers John Cena, Batista and the Bella Twins, Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, well-known genre stars Nathan Fillion and Karen Gillan, director John Carpenter and iconic artist Neal Adams.

I can tell you firsthand that it’s within walking distance of some really excellent cheesesteaks too. Just make sure you don’t mess up that gorgeous Jones cover with any grease.
