Batman Wedding Proposal in Cardiff, Wales

Found this beautiful, if a little bizarre Batman wedding proposal on UK newspaper The Mirror’s website. It all starts with a young woman sitting in a coffee shop in Cardiff, Wales, who is approached by Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

"It’s not every day you see Batman on the streets of Britain.The caped crusader was joined by Spider-Man and a host of fellow super heroes while he mingled with shoppers in a city centre.But his transatlantic arrival was not due to a sudden crimewave – just part of an elaborate wedding proposal which left tearful onlookers reaching for their hankies.Mathew Hill, 28, decided to make a big production of popping the question to 22-year-old girlfriend Jamie-Lee Johnson."

I really hope they have a beautiful Belle and Batman mash up wedding. What a sweet idea for a wedding proposal, combining her love of Disney with his love of superheroes for a proposal that not only will the couple never forget but Cardiff won’t soon forget either. I wish I hadn’t been in such a rush to get engaged, I know my husband would have done something special like this but I denied myself that chance by hurrying him.
