Matt Smith To Attend Philadelphia Comic Con On June 20 And 21

Philadelphia Comic Con already has plenty of attractions for fans of comics and pop culture alike, but Wizard World announced another big one this week. Matt Smith, best known as the Eleventh Doctor on Doctor Who (or possibly Twelfth, and fans of the show will understand what I mean) will be in attendance on the evening of Friday, June 20 and all day on June 21.

Smith will be available for autographs, photo ops and interactive Q & A sessions, and he’ll be joined on Saturday by Karen Gillan, who played popular companion Amy Pond during his time on Doctor Who. On Saturday, attendees will have the opportunity to pose with both stars, though exact times for all of the sessions have yet to be announced.

Other genre actors scheduled to appear at Philadephia Comic Con include Nathan Fillion, David Boreanaz, Whoopi Goldberg, Christopher Lloyd and Norman Reedus. The show runs June 19 through June 22 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, and a full schedule plus links to buy tickets are available online at www.wizardworld.com.
