Sideshow Collectibles Teases Expanded Iron Man Collection

Sometimes it feels like there are companies just out to bankrupt you by way of a continuous stream of awesome products. Sideshow Collectibles is one of the chief offenders, as the company’s high-end figures, busts and maquettes are amazing but not exactly wallet-friendly.

One of the most recent head-turners released by Sideshow was the Iron Man Mark 42 Quarter Scale Maquette, complete with light-up LED features and an amazing recreation of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark (well, the face of Tony Stark in this case). He goes perfectly with the previously released Iron Patriot Quarter Scale Maquette.

But why stop there? One of the big things that makes Iron Man such a fun character also makes him a licensee’s dream: namely, that you can always keep making him in different suits of armor. Judging by the new video it released to promote an expanded Iron Man Collection, Sideshow seems to have come to that conclusion on its own.

Watch the video, look for your favorite suit, and get ready to ask your employer if you can have a portion of your paycheck direct deposited to Sideshow Collectibles going forward. It’ll just be easier that way.
