Marvel Announces Second Printings For Rocket Raccoon #1 And The Legendary Star-Lord #1

That didn’t take long.

Two members of the Guardians of the Galaxy are making their solo ongoing series debuts today, but Marvel says it already needs to print more. Both Rocket Raccoon #1 and The Legendary Star-Lord #1 are going back for second printings after sellng out at the distributor level.

Note that your LCS could, and very well should, still have copies on hand considering both issues went on sale for the first time this morning. I haven’t been to my shop (Comix Connection in Mechanicsburg, Pa.), but there’s at least a small sliver of doubt growing in my mind since I didn’t ask the store to pull either book for me.

You can check out the second printing cover to Rocket Raccoon #1, by regular series writer and artist Skottie Young, above, and the Steve McNiven cover for the second printing of The Legendary Star-Lord #1 below. Could be a good omen for that Guardians of the Galaxy movie, no?
