Men Of Wrath From Aaron And Garney To Join Marvel’s Icon Line In October
By Nick Tylwalk
Writer Jason Aaron and artist Ron Garney are ready to get gritty for Marvel’s Icon imprint this fall.
The two creators are getting ready to unleash Men of Wrath, their creator-owned limited series focusing on hitman Ira Rath and his family’s bloody multi-generational history, in October. Garney, who is perhaps best known for his stellar Captain America run in the mid-90s but has had a steady stream of top notch gigs throughout the years, says there will be familiar elements for just about every reader despite the unique specifics of the Rath clan.
"Everybody has their history. Some history is more colorful than others. Some are more dysfunctional than others. I can’t speak for everyone else, but I can guarantee this story is bound to hit on many different cylinders for many people because of the family dynamic."
What started Rath down a path of murder and violence? There’s only one way to find out: look for Men of Wrath #1 from Aaron and Garney (with a variant cover by Steve Dillon) at your LCS or on digital in October.
