SDCC 2014: Gentle Giant Rocket Raccoon Mini Bust Revealed

It’s a pretty safe bet that Rocket Raccoon is going to be the breakout character from Guardians of the Galaxy for people who haven’t already been exposed to Marvel’s cosmic super-team (well, unless it’s Groot). That being the case, you may want to consider impressing any new fans who visit your pad by acquiring a limited edition Rocket Raccoon Mini Bust from Gentle Giant.

Like most cool stuff that comes out at this time of year, Rocket is an SDCC exclusive. He’s in 1:6 scale, but that’s probably only going to make the chip on his shoulder that much bigger.

You could, of course, pick one up at Comic-Con. But if you’re a Gentle Giant Premier Guild member, you can pre-order one online, and he’ll ship to your house after the convention ends.

The Mini Bust is limited to just 800 pieces and costs $70, but that’s a small price to pay to prove to your friends that you were down from before day one. And just think about how hard it was to get Rocket to stay still long enough for the folks at Gentle Giant to get his likeness right.
