Batman Annual #13 in Vintage Batman of the Week!
For our second Vintage Batman article I will be featuring my own beloved piece of vintage Batman memorabilia, my copy of Batman Annual #13 from 1989. As I mentioned once before in a previous trivia of the day post, my husband gave me my copy of Batman Annual #13 for our first wedding anniversary and it’s probably the best and most expensive piece of Batman merchandise I own.

I have never read my annual, as it came in perfect condition sealed in a plastic case and I want to keep it in the same condition it came to me in, I rarely even take it out of the plastic sleeve that surrounds the case. My plan is to put the annual, plastic case and all, into a shadow box so I can display it on my living room wall.
The stories in Batman Annual #13 were written by James Owsley and Kevin Dooley and the art team was Malcolm Jones III, Michael Bair, and Gray Morrow, the cover art was done by George Pratt. At the time the annual came out it cost a whopping $1.75, when my husband purchased my copy it was worth $50.
