Marvel Method: Cosplay Episodes 2 And 3 Help Gear Up For Comic-Con

Making the perfect Scarlet Witch costume for San Diego Comic-Con is no simple matter. That’s why the Marvel Method: Cosplay video series isn’t fooling around, enlisting the help of multiple experts to construct an outfit that will be revealed on Thursday, July 24, a.k.a the first day of SDCC.

Hosts Lorraine Cink and Judy Stephens have tapped the knowledge of professional costumer Carly Bradt, wig expert Kathrine Zan and professional cosplayer Yaya Han to do justice to Wanda Maximoff, and both episodes 2 and 3 of their odyssey through the costume creation process are now live.

Episode 2 has Cink and Stephens tap Bradt’s skills as a seamstress, touching on the topic of draping and the importance of pattern making. Plus there’s an update on how far the Scarlet Witch costume has come so far.

In Episode 3, it’s almost time for the finishing touches. The headpiece, gloves and boots are all coming along nicely, but the look isn’t complete until Cink and Stephens talk to Zan about hair. And Wanda has had some pretty sweet hair over the years.
