Batman: Arkham Knight Pre-Order Incentives

If you’ve always wanted to become the Red Hood or cause mischief as Harley Quinn, here’s your chance.  Gamestop has announced some pre-order incentives for the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight.  Being one of the first to reserve the game, you will receive a range of awesome goodies:

• An unlocked Red Hood story pack
• Four challenge maps so you can play as Harley Quinn
• An exclusive Gamestop-only Batman 75th Anniversary collage poster

Batman: Arkham Knight is the follow-up to 2011’s Batman: Arkham City.  The game will be set one year after the events of Arkham City and will allow the player to become the Dark Knight at the pinnacle of his abilities.  Originally scheduled for release on October 14, 2014, Rocksteady Studios delayed the debut to perfect the game.  In marketing game manager Guy Perkins’s own words:

"If we didn’t give the team more time to do it, then we would be releasing something that we weren’t happy with. We want to make sure we’re absolutely nailing it 100%."

The new release date will be sometime in 2015.  As if the wait wasn’t torturous enough, the game has already received many accolades from previews.  At E3 2014, Game Informer awarded it Best Action Game, and IGN awarded it Best Xbox One Game.  At the 2014 Game Critics Awards the game won the category for Best Action / Adventure Game.
