Star-Lord Can Sing, Dance … And Rap

Backed by his omnipresent “Awesome Mix,” Peter Quill, a.k.a. Star-Lord, showed off both his singing and dancing skills in Guardians of the Galaxy. It’s not an exaggeration to say that they helped him save at least one planet from destruction.
In real life, the actor behind Star-Lord, Chris Pratt, has some musical talents of his own. While making an appearance on the Sirius XM rap station Shade 45, Pratt revealed to DJ Whoo Kid that he used to listen to Dr. Dre’s The Chronic 2001 album every day while hanging out with a friend in Maui.

No word on whether or not James Gunn is planning on making a more modern “Awesome Mix Vol. 3” for the Guardians sequel, but if he does, the next distraction pulled off by Star-Lord may have some hip-hop flavor to it.
