There’s nothing wrong with that, of course. A lot of us are fans of Spider-Man, after all.

It’s just that most people don’t get to dress as Spider-Man while on the job, and you’d think that if said job was playing professional soccer (or football, if you live somewhere other than the U.S.) for Borussia Dortmund of the German Bundesliga, you’d also be prevented from making like Peter Parker while working. But you’d be wrong.

Meet Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a Gabonese footballer who celebrated a recent goal by … well, just watch the video.

Manuel Neuer, you may be the best goalkeeper in the world, but even you can’t stop a header from Spider-Man!

As Fox Sports found out, Aubameyang got the idea for his Spidey goal celebration from a former teammate who dressed in full Spider-Man garb and played that way for an entire match. He was a goalie, and I can attest from personal experience that goalies are a little different, but still. Yes, there’s video evidence of that too.

Amazing — or spectacular, or whatever your favorite Spider-Man adjective might be. Anyone can do cosplay, but these guys are taking it to a whole new level.

Note: I’m sure there are American sports stars who are big comic fans and would love to do something like this except they’d get fined by their respective leagues. Oh well.
