Chris Pratt Visits Sick Kids In L.A. Hospital Dressed As Star-Lord

I have no idea if Chris Pratt is a cool guy in real life, but he seems like he is. Case in point: E! Online reports that Pratt got Marvel and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to hold a special screening of Guardians of the Galaxy for both patients and staff earlier this week.

That would be pretty sweet on its own, but Pratt also left during the movie, came back dressed in his full Star-Lord costume, and spent several hours taking pictures with kids, signing autographs and handing out GotG swag. He even made a point to visit children in certain wards that were too sick to attend the movie.

Whatever your feelings are on actors and actresses or Hollywood in general, that’s the kind of story that can’t help but bring a smile to your face. It’s nice to know that Star-Lord is making a name for himself in the real world even if he’s not quite as legendary as he’d like in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
