Jamie Foxx talks Amazing Spider-Man 2 and almost becoming Luke Cage

Jamie Foxx is a fantastic actor and his casting as Electro was somewhat of a genius move from Sony, Marc Webb and the film’s casters. But in a recent video courtesy of IGN.com Jamie sat down and talked about his motivation to be not only in a superhero film, but specifically in a Spider-Man superhero film. You can check out Jamie’s interview below where he also talks about the time he almost became Luke Cage.
Our sister site Bam Smack Pow reckons that Jamie would have had to have bulked up a lot to be a convincing Luke Cage, whereas someone like Terry Crews would be a much better fit. But we here at Whatever a Spider Can aren’t so sure, I personally believe Foxx would make a great Cage. Still that ship has sailed and instead we got Jamie Foxx lighting Spider-Man films up as Electro!
