Un-boxing of Bandai Sprukits Batman Arkham City model kit
A few weeks ago I reported a new Batman Arkham City action figure model kit from Sprukits by Bandai, in case you missed it here is that article. Well not long after I published this article I was contacted by a representative of the company and offered a free sample of the model kit. It came in the mail today so here is my un-boxing of the Bandai Sprukits Batman Arkham City model kit.
Can I just say how great it is to play with toys for work?! Here is a look at the finished product to the right. First of all I have got to say how much fun I had putting this together and how excited I was when this came in the mail, getting this free sample is one of the coolest things to happen to me thanks to this job, along with interviewing Greg Capullo, Athena Finger, Neal Adams, and Dr. Travis Langley.
In my previous article I mentioned my concerns about putting one of these together, as it reminded me of model kits from the ninties and what a pain they were to put together. But I am happy to report that this kit was very simple to put together and quite satisfying too. The pieces click together very easily and the instructions were simple to follow. My only complaint is the cape is made of paper and not cloth or plastic. Other than that I love this figure, these Sprukits are not the model kits of my youth!
Remember these awesome kits can be yours for only $19.99 and you can purchase yours here. Check out the following pages which include photos of the assembly process.
This is what the kit looks like right out of the box.
