Infographic Shows Batman Through the Ages

Designer Salvador Anguiano created a poster for Batman’s 75th anniversary that features 75 incarnations of the Dark Knight’s visage throughout the years, and it’s admittedly cool. A poster, however, just isn’t enough for Bat-fans in a multi-media era. For that reason Anguiano also created a slick GIF infographic that scrolls through all the Bat-heads for east identification. There are some pretty sweet deep cuts in there, many of which had BRIEF appearances. He does a great job of spanning the range of media iterations, giving you a simple map of how the Caped Crusader has changed over time. Here’s a look at the art in poster form and broken down by section.
