Expect New ‘Arkham Knight’ Footage at Tokyo Game Show

The Tokyo Game Show or TGS is a lot like PAX, in that it’s an exhibition of upcoming video games and a venue for new announcements. It actually takes place in Chiba, Japan, the same place where the real life Batman was seen patrolling the highways.

According to Sony’s official list of featured games and projects it plans to showcase at the show starting tomorrow, Batman: Arkham Knight will be showing ‘video’. On their list they always say whether the new games will be playable or simply show footage, and they say this under their PS4 section:

  • Batman: Arkham Knight (Video Only)

I doubt seriously that they will show footage we’ve seen before, especially if there is no playable version of the game. If I had to guess, I’d say a new trailer is on the way this week. This also means that the game makers are likely being very careful with releasing too much too soon. As far as we know, no real playable demo or beta version has seen daylight at any point. Either the game isn’t quite ready or they just want it to be perfect before anyone touches it to avoid poor early reviews.

If news about the game comes out this week, tune in to Caped Crusades for the latest!
