Meet Your New Caped Crusader: Eric Chrisman!
It’s tradition here on Caped Crusades, every time we hire a new volunteer staff writer we have them answer a shore series of questions about themselves and use these to introduce the new writer to our audience. Today I am proud to announce that Eric Chrisman, a prolific writer over on Gamesided.com and my husband, is joining our team here at Caped Crusades! Here are Eric’s responses to our standard list of ‘getting to know you’ questions for new volunteers:

Who’s your favorite Batman character?
The Joker, specifically Mark Hamill’s portrayal of The Joker, sure he was a murderous psychopath, but he was a lot of fun, too and often is the center of the best Batman comics, movies, cartoon episodes, etc.
What’s your favorite Batman creative team?
The team behind the original Batman Animated series, specifically Bruce Timm and Paul Dini, pretty much everything those two touch is magic and while I was aware of Batman before this series, but this was what really got me hooked into the whole Batman universe and added a lot of nuance and depth that wasn’t present in the comics at the time. Without the series Freeze wouldn’t have the character development he had nor we would have the wonderful Harley Quinn.
What’s your college/educational background?
Graduated high school, spent some time at Chico State as a journalism major, never graduated though.
What do you do for a living?
Cashier at a grocery store, aspiring writer
What do you like to do for fun?
Usual nerd stuff, play video games, binge on nerdy tv shows & cartoons, etc.
What’s your favorite Batman moment – in any medium?
The episode “Almost Got ‘Im” in Batman TAS, it’s such a great representation of a large portion of Batman’s rogues gallery, an unique concept and a fantastically fun twist at the end
