Epic Mash-up of Batman Themes
By Skip Harvey
The classical music troupe The Piano Guys have released a new Batman themed (literally) video from their upcoming album, and it’s been self described as an “epic mash-up”. Hard to disagree, considering it’s a tribute to the most famous Batman themes of all time. From Batman 66 to Batman 1989 by Danny Elfman, to Hans Zimmer’s Batman Begins opus, the piece is a nostalgic and energetic remix of Batman through music.
I honestly think not including the Batman: The Animated Series theme is a glaring omission. Despite that, its pretty cool. Especially when you consider that this video is the first time these three Batmobiles has ever been on screen together. Crazy, Right? Perhaps they could do another version that included Batman: TAS, Batman Beyond and the Brave and the Bold.
