Aquaman Gets His Due In Official Justice League: Throne Of Atlantis Trailer
By Nick Tylwalk
Auqaman might not ever get a live action movie to call his own, meaning we might have to make do with his appearances in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and any subsequent Justice League movies. Fret not though Aqua-fans, as DC is still giving him the spotlight in the upcoming Justice League: Throne of Atlantis animated feature, which now has an official trailer.
Loosely adapted from the Geoff Johns-Ivan Reis-Paul Pelletier crossover arc of the same name from a few years back, Throne of Atlantis shows Arthur Curry attempting to come to terms with his Atlantean heritage and teaming with the Justice League for the first time (or at least it seems that way, as Green Lantern and Flash joke about how the undersea hero needs a code name) to turn back an invasion led by his own brother.
The movie is set in the same continuity as Justice League: War, but it’s doubtful you need to have seen that to enjoy this one, especially since Aquaman wasn’t in it. And that’s no fun. Check out the trailer and see Arthur get his due — finally.
