Avengers: Age Of Ultron Official Trailer Review – Some Things You May Have Missed
So the internet has been filled with joy this week following the official release of the Avengers:Age Of Ultron trailer. In my opinion it was awesome, so much so I even got goosebumps. It gave screen time to all the heroes we know and love, along with shots, and even a voiceoverfrom what we know to be Ultron.
Now for the hidden parts that eagle-eyed fans would have noticed, but for those who didn’t … Spoiler alert!
We see a brief clip that appears to be Captain America and a young Peggy Carter in what seems to be a 1940’s club. Could this be time travel? Or is it re-visiting an untold storyline from the Captain America franchise?
The second spoiler I noticed was two-fold. First, a brief sight of Andy Serkis ( live action! weird, right?) looking remarkably like Ulysses Klaw, who is a Marvel villain. The second part is seeing liquid metal being poured onto the hand of Ultron. For those who don’t know, Klaw was known to steal Vibranium ( the liquid metal) from an African tribe in Wakanda. Isn’t Captain America’s shield made of this? Oh yes,it is! It’s possible that Ultron covers himself in this to become more powerful. Some filming was rumoured to be done in South Africa, so this would all tie in nicely.
All of this is accompanied with a hauntingly beautiful song (which is a slowed down version of a Pinnochio song, referring to Ultron “cutting his strings” from Tony Stark) played in the background to give added poignancy. All in all, a great first trailer.
Stay tuned …
