Marvel Studios To Make Big Announcement

Marvel certainly has more treats than tricks this October. On Friday, multiple comic news blogs received invites to a special Marvel Studios press event, which will be held on Tuesday, October 28 at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles. There are no details on what the news will be about, but there is heavy speculation that the studio will be making an announcement about upcoming films. If you recall, back in July, Marvel Studios reserved eleven release dates for their films. Most of the planned projects were untitled:
- May 1, 2015 – Avengers: Age of Ultron
- July 17, 2015 – Ant-Man
- May 6, 2016 – Captain America 3
- July 8, 2016 – Unknown (Most likely Doctor Strange)
- May 5, 2017 – Unknown
- July 28, 2017 – Unknown
- November 3, 2017 – Unknown
- May 4, 2018 – Unknown
- July 6, 2018 – Unknown
- November 2, 2018 – Unknown
- May 3, 2019 – Unknown
Could Tuesday’s announcement fill in the “unknowns” with “knowns”? Or could they be announcing an even bigger slate of movies in addition to filling in the gaps? What do you think?
