Dress The Whole Family In Batman Costumes This Halloween
As you may know if you frequent Caped Crusades, I have been featuring some Batman character costumes for the last month in preparation for Halloween. Admittedly my posts have focused on costumes for women and young girls because frankly there have been great Batman costumes for men and boys for a very long time, and as a girl who grew up with very few options to dress as a Batman character I was very psyched to see the options girls have these days.
Today I thought I would discuss Batman character costumes for the whole family, even your favorite four legged friend! Spirit Halloween is your one-stop-shop for all your Halloween needs including matching Batman costumes for the whole family! Right now at Spirit Halloween locations around the country and on their website you can purchase a Batman costume for your dog, and dress your children as various Robins. Mom can be Batgirl for Halloween and Dad of course can be Batman!
Want to know what really makes Spirit Halloween great? It’s not the awesome costumes, it’s not the amazing spooky decorations and party favors, it’s not even the fantastically scary animatronics they have for sale at every location and online. No what really makes Spirit Halloween great is Spirit of Children, the company’s philanthropic venture (or charity in laymans terms). Through Spirit of Children, Spirit Halloween strives to make sure that hospitalized children all over the country, (children who normally
don’t have a chance to celebrate Halloween) get to celebrate Halloween.
"Spirit of Children is a program that brings fun and funding to hospitals at Halloween and all year long. We focus on hospitals that focus on kids because they need help to make hospital stays less scary for kids and their families. We started seven years ago with eleven hospitals in our own backyard and the belief that a great holiday should do great good. And it worked. We’ve raised more than $16 million in cash and merchandise donations since then and have worked with over 130 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada during the 2013 season. Every dollar donated goes directly to the hospitals. Local donations stay local."
