Dawn Of Justice Update: Detroit Is A Wrap
By Steve Lam
Via Batman News, we have an update that the highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has wrapped up filming in Detroit, Michigan. Director Zack Snyder and company have been in “Motor City” for almost a year, where they’ve shot some pivotal scenes with the new Batmobile — speeding on the streets and at the docks. In an interview with WXYZ Detroit, Snyder enthusiastically confirmed that he and the crew will return for other DC universe movies because they’ve “established a lot of locations on the movie here.”
Next on the itinerary, the Dawn of Justice cast and crew will journey to Chicago, Illinois. Filming in “The Windy City” is set to begin this week. While they’re in the state of Illinois, they’ll also be in Yorkville to shoot a scene that involves the Kent Farm. If you’re near any of those spots in Illinois, you should see if you can pay any of the sets a visit. The filming location and schedule is publicly available at On Location Vacations. If you do get some images or videos, tweet them to @slamofsteel, and we’ll get them posted with a credit to you!
