Spider-Man At The Center Of New MarvelKids.com

Leave it to your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man to welcome young Marvel fans to their own totally revamped online experience.

You can find it at MarvelKids.com, and Spidey is a big part of what’s being offered right from the start. The wall-crawler has his own subsite at spiderman.marvelkids.com with downloadable coloring pages, mazes, word searches, Sodoku and the following online games:

• Spider-Man Web Shooter – Take on the role of Spider-Man and use your Web Shooters to help defeat some of his all-time greatest rivals – Rhino, Lizard, The Green Goblin and more!
• Spider-Man Wall Crawler  – Help Spider-Man race to the top of the Manhattan skyline to defeat Vulture, Electro and Doc Ock and save the day!
• Spider-Man Web-Slinger  – Use your spider-skills to web-swing, slide and jump to avoid danger and collect coins to try to get the highest score you can!

The main MarvelKids.com site also has sneak peeks of upcoming episodes from Marvel’s animated offerings and an exclusive character guide for Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man: Wen Warriors. Expansion plans for the site over the next few months will feature similar content that focuses on the Avengers.

“Kids and digital go hand in hand, so we created a new online experience exclusively for kids that allows them to engage with the Marvel heroes they love and even be a hero themselves through the games,” Kristin Vincent, Marvel’s VP of Digital Products, said in a statement. “We’ll keep rolling out new games, videos and other content so kids can have fun online with Spider-Man and soon with the Avengers while in a kid-safe digital environment.”
