Happy Birthday Anne Hathaway!

We here at Caped Crusades love to celebrate the people who help give form to our favorite characters in the Bat-verse, be it in the pages of a comic book or on the TV or movie screen. With that in mind, Caped Crusades would like to wish a very happy birthday to Dark Knight Rises actress Anne Hathaway, who turns 32 today.

Anne Hathaway played Catwoman in the third and final film in director Chris Nolan’s Batman movie trilogy, and can currently be seen in theaters in Nolan’s latest film, the sci-fi epic Interstellar.

In a recent interview, Anne Hathaway said she really enjoyed the role of Catwoman and would love to play her again, especially in a solo film. Given the current plans Warner Bros. has for it’s upcoming slate of DC films, that seems unlikely to happen. Still, several DC properties are doing their own thing outside of the main DC movie universe like Arrow & The Flash and the upcoming Shazam movie will be independent of the other DC films so Anne Hathaway being Catwoman again somewhere down the line isn’t entirely outside the realm of possibility. Happy 32nd bithday Anne, here’s to many more!
