Jesse Eisenberg Bald After All, Likely for 'Batman v Superman'

Speculation and rumor about Jesse Eisenberg’s appearance as Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman has gone opposite directions. Some report that he has long, surfer-like hair, some claim he’s bald like the classic Lex we know and love. I personally believe both are true at different times in the film. Well, we now have photos that seem to support Eisenberg’s baldness.

Though he dons the hat, he seems to have buzzed hair underneath. This is most likely not a coincidence considering he’s currently playing Lex Luthor, right?

The approach this film is taking is a new one for the criminal mastermind. They seem to be presenting him as a ‘new money’ tech-genius, instead of the older, more established corporate giant. I don’t dislike the take as an updated archetype, but it could prove to be misguided if his motivation is mishandled. Based on interviews Eisenberg has given recently, he and writer Chris Terrio seem to grasp the core of Luthor.
