Arrow: Lazarus Pit Confirmation?

Ever since the mid-season finale episode of Arrow, fans have been speculating on how Oliver Queen could survive being completely stabbed through by a sword  and kicked off a cliff.  A recent article posted by Nick Tylwalk even went into three theories as to how he could survive, and it seems that one of them is right!

Arrow star Stephen Amell, via his Facebook page, made a very confirming comment.  In response to a recent fan-made picture of a hand grasping an arrow and emerging from a pool of green liquid, Amell said, “We have very clever fans.”

If this isn’t a confirmation, I don’t know what is.  Of course, he could be commenting on the guy’s skills as a graphic artist, but I seriously doubt that (not to say that the image doesn’t look outright cool).  I’m as excited as any fan that Arrow is now going into the more mythical realms of the DC universe.

We’ll find out if the Lazarus Pit does exist when The CW starts showing new episodes of Arrow on January 21, 2015.
