Check out the Batwing Minature Used For Batman Forever!
While the 75th anniversary of Batman & The 25th anniversary 1989 Batman movie may have passed, 2015 is the twentieth anniversary of Batman Forever. Not as exciting I know, but it ties in nicely to this cool look at these miniatures used in Batman Forever!

The miniatures pictured below were used in one of the last sequences of Batman Forever, when Batman is approaching Claw Island, where Dr. Chase Meridian & Robin are being held hostage by The Riddler and Two-Face. McCune Design did the work on the miniatures in Batman Forever, and here’s a bit from them on it:
"The McCune Design team created a 1/6th scale cave interior, and a highly detailed Bat Plane that hung and launched from the cave ceiling. In addition, extensive labyrinths of tunnels were built for high-speed P.O.V. views from the plane as it exited the Bat Cave. Other scenes required the creation The Arkham Asylum exterior and a highly detailed Gotham Alley. When the alley dead ends, The Bat Mobile raced up a vertical wall."
Batman Forever was of course where the Batman movie franchise started to take a turn for the worse, but I think it still holds up as a fun film anchored by Jim Carrey’s inspired performance as The Riddler.
