Gotham Preview – S01E11 – Rogues’ Gallery

This Monday, January 5, 2015, Fox’s Gotham comes back from its fall hiatus with the episode Rogues’ Gallery.  A lot has happened in the first ten episodes: James Gordon and Harvey Bullock have solidified their working partnership; Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle have become friends; Gordon has seen and experienced the depths of Gotham City’s corruption; and Gordon has been demoted to guarding Arkham Asylum as a uniformed cop.

But fear not, with a new year comes new possibilities, and one of them is in the form of Dr. Leslie Thompkins — the famed physician who, in the comics, was the first person to comfort Bruce on the night of his parents’ murders.  Later, she would act as Bruce’s personal physician for injuries sustained during his nightly escapades as the Dark Knight.

Here’s the official synopsis for the mid-season eleventh episode premiere:

"Det. Gordon’s assignment at Arkham Asylum gets off to a rocky start when the murder of a guard ignites an investigation, leading him to meet Dr. Leslie Thompkins (guest star Morena Baccarin, “Homeland”). Meanwhile, Cobblepot continues to build his army in the all-new “Rogues’ Gallery” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Jan. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX."
