While attending The CW’s panel at the Winter Television Critics Association event, executive editor Eric Goldman of IGN TV was able to tweet out a close-up photo of what Robbie Amell will be wearing when he becomes Firestorm. I know, it’s definitely not what fans have been expecting, and almost harkens back to the days of The CW’s Smallville costume cheats — where everyone wore normal clothing that referenced what they’ll eventually be wearing (Bart Allen’s Impulse in a red hoodie, Clark Kent’s The Blur wearing a trenchcoat and then a red leather jacket with a blue T-shirt underneath).

Knowing what The Flash has been doing, I’m willing to bet that this is a first prototype version of what Firestorm will don. As he embraces his heroism more, the suit will most likely evolve. What do you think?
