Gotham Preview – S01E12 – What The Little Bird Told Him
By Steve Lam
In the mid-season January 5th premiere episode, Rogues’ Gallery, we saw James Gordon investigating a string of electroshock-related assaults on Arkham Asylum’s inmates. Gordon was also introduced to Dr. Leslie Thompkins, Arkham’s on-staff physician, where they struck up a quick friendship. In the end, it was discovered that everyone was played, as the real mastermind behind the assaults was an inmate named Jack Gruber. Meanwhile, Butch Gilzean proves his loyalty to Fish Mooney when he not only rejects his best friend’s employment offer, but coldly executes him.
This week, speculations from our review will be proven correct when Jack Gruber dons the moniker The Electrocutioner. And Mooney makes her move to take power from Carmine Falcone. Here’s the official synopsis for What the Little Bird Told Him:
"In an attempt to get his job back, Gordon seeks to capture Jack Gruber (guest star Christopher Heyerdahl), a deranged electrical genius who escapes Arkham Asylum. Meanwhile, Falcone struggles to hold onto his empire after Fish Mooney makes her next move in the all-new “What The Little Bird Told Him” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Jan. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GTH-112) (TV-14 L, V)"
And, of course, the exciting extended trailer for the episode:
