Forget Leopardon! Spider-Man has fought Megatron

The recent appearance of Leopardon, the Japanese Television Spider-Man’s giant battle-robot, in the Amazing Spider-Man series during the Spider-Verse event was met with almost universal acclaim by people like myself absolutely geeking out at the sight of it.

However Leopardon isn’t the first giant robot that Spider-Man has come face to face with. In fact Spider-Man is friends with arguably the most famous giant robot of all time; Optimus Prime. A user of Reddit revealed that Spider-Man has even helped the Autobots battle Megatron in a Spider-Man/Transformers crossover!

The crossover between a black-suit wearing Spider-Man and the Transformers took place in a #3 of a four issue miniseries entitled Prisoners of War and it sees Spider-Man trying to help the Autobots rescue Sparkplug Witwicky from the Deceptions.
