Todd McFarlane’s iconic Spider-Man pose on different comic book covers
By Daniel Wood
Todd McFarlane may be a long, long way away from providing the art for another Spider-Man comic having founded rival comic book company Image Comics but there’s no denying the lasting memory caused by the iconic Amazing Spider-Man #300 cover, which goes down as one of the most prominent comic book covers in history. Take a look!
Want more proof that this comic cover is iconic? Just take a look at the different takes on this issue! There’s Spawn from Image Comics, Venom, Spider-Gwen and Doctor Octopus all pulling the same iconic pose as Spider-Man did.
Pretty nifty right! It’s also really cool that thanks to the Phantom variant cover scheme that Spider-Gwen will be one of the character’s immortalised in Todd McFarlane’s iconic comic book cover pose.
I wonder which character will be next to strike up the famous pose
