You can now get Spider-Gwen’s band The Mary Janes – Face It Tiger on LP

When Edge of Spider-Verse #2 was released introducing the world to a kick-ass rockstar Spider-Gwen it was like a bomb of awesome just went off in your face. Then Married With Sea Monsters added a cacophony of aural magic when they actually went and made the song ‘Face It Tiger’ that Gwen Stacy’s band The Mary Janes were playing in the comic.

Well I had stepped away for a while but when I wasn’t looking it appears that the whole thing has taken off, like big time! Lots of things happened, like a Mary Janes twitter page and suddenly the band (Married With Sea Monsters) is appearing at comic-cons as The Mary Janes, Spider-Gwen creators Robbi Rodriguez, Jason Latour and Rico Renzi are supporting it and an actual physical LP is available for purchase!
You can only get it at the Heroes Aren’t Hard To Find Spider-Gwen #1 launch party event in Charlotte, North Carolina but don’t worry folks if there are any left (like there would be any left…) they’ll be going online. But for those of us who can’t get to North Carolina at the drop of a hat we’ll have to make do with seeing what the 7″ Vinyl looks like.
As you can see the LP cover features some stunning art from Robbi Rodriguez, the man behind the actual Edge of Spider-Verse #2 and the Spider-Gwen comics. God it’s so cool isn’t it!
