Spider-Man Unlimited Update Preview

Fresh off the live stream, here are a few notes from the stream for the Spider-Man Unlimited game. The big update is planned for next week!

New Bosses:
New bosses are being added to the game, including Doctor Octopus and Lord Solus, whose event is two weeks after the update.

New Environment:
Doctor Octopus’s underwater laboratory. This will be the first environment with all the game types: swinging, climbing, diving, bosses, etc.

New Spider-Men in the next Update:
There are eight new Spider-Men announced for the newest update:

• Superior Venom – released next week!
• Aaron Aikman Spider-Man
• Spider-Ben or Uncle Ben Spider-Man
• 2 more unrevealed characters.
• 3 unrevealed community vote characters.

Bullet Points Spider-Man (Bruce Banner) and Spider-Man 1602 are also coming, and are available early in the Spring Portal that appears every day for one hour, so keep checking!

Event Updates: week after solus, monday after clash of spiders

• Clash of Spider-Man event: Each player is sorted into a team, either Amazing or Superior. Collect tokens for your team. The more tokens you collect the more “super good” rewards you can get. Released the Monday after the update.
• Best of 5 events: events where you can only play them for a total of 5 times so do your best!
• More flash events with consumable and other prizes.
• More event types (collect X-amount fo vials).

Game Updates:

• New User Interface (shield icon for store).
• 20 new inventory slots!!!!!
• In the update after this one, they plan to add a new voice actor, so expect new voice-overs. 
• VIP portal updates (new spideys for this every 2 weeks or so).
• Level up portal: get fully leveled Spider-Man
• Future Update: ability to rank up legendaries directly with Iso-8.
• Android Users: LAG will be much less of a problem.
• Awesome interaction between Doc Ock and Superior Spider-Man (one in story mode and more in the events).
• Improved Spidey Ops with better rewards and more balancing.

Symbiote Plan: Do not fret! Symbiote/black suit Spider-Man is COMING. It’s not released yet because they have a much grander plan for him. A big plan. Be stoked they say.

• Additionally, they have not confirmed that they will do this but they have a Spider-Island idea in the works. (Which is awesome)

Planned Spider-Men: These are Spider-Men which they mentioned will be coming or are planned for future updates.

Spider-Men they’re looking in to: These Spider-Men aren’t planned, but will be looked into.

• Scarlet Spider-Woman (Felicia Hardy)
• Spider-Girl Betty Brant
• Negative Zone Spider-Man

And then there are the Spider-Men they want but need to figure out how to program them and their models into the game. Some may not work.

Spider-Men that won’t be added: these are Spider-Men that due to licensing issues or character model issues will not be added to the game.

• Spider-Hulk
• Spider-Fist (Iron Fist Spider)
• Spider-Man Unlimited (from the TV show)

• Supaidaman

Whew, now that’s a lot of information! Check back in when they announce more stuff, and let me know if I missed anything! I’m very excited though, hopefully this will refresh my enthusiasm for the game.
